Her work has been described as dancing, nurturing, sensitive, a synthesis of intellect and intuition, and “like a magical fairy who knows how to deliver pressure.” She studied and taught yoga during college, graduated with her BA from Occidental College with departmental honors, and went on to study massage therapy at the Santa Fe School of Massage (formerly the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing). She offers a wide variety of massage modalities, including a certification in Pre-Natal Massage. Erin McMullin, BA, LMT #7309
Erin enjoys creating a personalized experience for every client, both through listening to needs they express and listening to the tissue. Her intent for each session is to hold a space in which to awaken self-knowledge of one’s physical being, thereby supporting and balancing the emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies of the receiver as well. Her style is an intuitive combination of Swedish strokes and connective tissue work, integrating therapeutic pressure with relaxing, nurturing flow. Having graduated from the Santa Fe School of Massage in March 2012, Erin is continuing her massage therapy education with an additional 300 hour course in Holistic Clinical Massage: Working with Pain. Accepting cash or checks.

Elizabeth is trained in various modalities of bodywork with special emphasis on Swedish, Deep Tissue and Prenatal massage. She approaches her bodywork with the same commitment to the ’embodied experience of Love’ that she has with classical piano and writing poetry and short stories. A Korean-American woman born and raised in Boston, she graduated with a BA in English literature from Brown. As a Fulbright researcher, she directed, shot and edited a body-focused women’s studies documentary in South Korea called ‘Good for Her’ which is being shown in dozens of universities throughout the U.S. Elizabeth is dedicated to continuing to explore body-mind journeys across the globe, and the subtle and not so subtle ways they manifest –intellectually, spiritually, physically. She currently works as a therapist at BODY, runs her own private practice, ‘Lift into Blue’ and volunteers with Many Mothers, a Santa Fe-based non-profit which provides support to struggling new mothers and their newborns.
Israel Gambino, LMT #T-5055
Healing Hands Massage
Hello my name is Israel Gambino. Thank your interest in the Santa Fe School of Massage and for taking the time to read my bio. I became interested in the healing arts while recovering from a near- fatal illness. The illness was contracted in 2001 and was followed with over 10 years of recovery and rehabilitation. During that time I explored a multitude of healing modalities. Regular therapeutic massage played a key role in my quality of life as well as my recovery.
I graduated from the Santa Fe School of Message in September, 2013. My training included a variety of modalities with a focus on Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Today I am blessed with good health and look forward to sharing the healing gift of massage with others.
Joy graduated from The Santa Fe School of Massage in 2012 and specializes in blending the use of Hot Stone Massage with Swedish and Deep Tissue to give you the best of both worlds. Joy balances the amount of hot stone use with actual hands on massage. In a session, the stones are placed down the back and around the body, and are also used as massage tools. When muscles are extremely tense, deep work for some people can hinder the massage experience because it can be uncomfortable to receive. The heated stones are a very effective way to unwind and relax tight, sore muscles. These magical stones dissolve away stress and negative emotions, open up the chakra’s and take you to a much deeper place of relaxation.

I originally got my bachelors degree in psychology and anthropology from the University of Utah. I discovered the power of massage through managing wellness centers in upstate New York and Utah before going to school myself. I have been doing massage at Ojo Caliente for almost two years and now have an office in Santa Fe on Sundays. I am excited for the chance to work closer with people in my community.
I enjoy taking a structural approach to the body. I find pain patterns, areas of stress and tension, postural issues, and work directly to provide relief and move them towards wholeness with the rest of the body. I often include myofascial release techniques and trigger point therapy. I have directly experienced this work creating lasting changes in the body and improving lives.
