This weekend seminar presents the biodynamic approach to craniosacral therapy in a simple and accessible manner. A clear overview of biodynamic theory, and it’s place in the historical development of craniosacral therapy, is balanced with hands-on exercises designed to ground theory into direct experience in both student practitioner and client roles. This introductory seminar provides an easy to access opportunity for you to explore biodynamics, and whet your appetite for a fuller understanding of this potent and popular healing modality.
An Intro class is a perquisite for anyone considering the full Biodynamic Craniosacral Training which will start sometime in 2019 – date TBA.
Instructor: Scott Zamurut, RCST®, is a bodywork practitioner and teacher in energetic healing forms that emphasize the embodiment of life energy: Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Polarity Therapy. Integral to these forms of healing are the skills of shock and trauma resolution, which are augmented in an energy-based practice. Scott also has extensive training and practitioner experience in Pre & Perinatal Education, including teacher training, in the lineage of William Emerson.
Scott began teaching Polarity Therapy in 1990, and has taught Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy since 1994. He had been teaching at SFSOM since 2012. Scott’s focus in Biodynamics has resulted in a reinvigorated perspective on the work, expressed through the evolutionary curriculum and training model he has developed over the past 20 years. In recent years Scott has added Pre & Perinatal Education to his training offerings with forthcoming courses to broaden the availability of this important work.
Along the way Scott has also been involved with professional associations, serving as a founding board member of the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America, and as a Vice President with the American Polarity Therapy Association.
