Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is the leading-edge in the evolution of craniosacral therapy, focusing on the bioenergy, or the “Breath of Life” that imbues the tissues, fluids and field of the body on all levels, and is the source of health. BCST is a practice of deep, highly-trained listening, rather than manipulation, to this very force that enlivens our bodies. This bioenergy, palapable by skilled practitioners, is self-regulatory: it is a self-healing phenomenon with far reaching implications for the affects of trauma and illness.
The effectiveness of the biodynamic cranial method constantly surprises me. It invites both practitioner and recipient into a stillness that heals and awakens on all levels. Scott is an outstanding teacher. I highly recommend this course.

Overview of Biodynamics
“According to the founders of Biodynamics, a body is ‘healthy’ when the Breath of Life is breathing through it freely. In my classes, I teach you how to identify where that Breath is stuck, and through your disciplined awareness, catalyze the body’s journey back to health.” ~Scott Zamurut, RCST®
Scott’s way of teaching Biodynamics goes back to the beginning. Through his own 24 years of practice, his study of the original writings of Drs William Sutherland and Rollin Becker, and his 10 years of mentoring with Franklyn Sills, he is able to give his students an incredibly clear, grounded, and disciplined foundation in exactly how to work with the body’s inherent capacity to heal. As healers, we’ve all heard “the body heals itself.” In Scott’s classes, you learn how that happens, and how, as practitioner, you can be an active participant in the process.
The BCST Training Program
The two-day BCST Introductory Class is the perfect opportunity to experience Scott’s teaching, and the healing depth of Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, in a convenient format. It is highly recommended as a preparatory step into the Foundation Training. The BCST Introductory Class will be offered Oct 20-21, 2018. CE Class: Introduction to Biodynamic Craniosacral Training/
“This work comes from the deepest structural elements we have. It’s basic tissues; it’s bones and articulations and joint work and correct alignment. But it’s also highly energetic. If you don’t have a foundation in the structure, you can’t ground this work. I’ve been very fascinated to see how Scott teaches it. He consistently comes back with each module and he’s clear, and concise, and you learn to work from the most rigid structure and let the infinity come in and through the work.”
~Thalia Venerable, Current Biodynamic Craniosacral student
2019 Foundation Training dates to be announced soon.
“Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy has changed my life. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and while studying and receiving BCST for the past three years, I now experience a sense of balance and stability as well as a freedom of movement I have never known before. My mind has also been set free from constantly having to think about every step I take, allowing me to see and experience the world around me in a profoundly different way.” ~Amy Neithold, RCST®– Course Graduate

He began his studies of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in 1992, and has been teaching this healing art since 1994. His rigorous, spirited and hands-on classroom model is a result of 20-plus years of observation, practice, study, and training both practitioners and new teachers. In recent years Scott has added Pre & Perinatal Education to his training roster and offers this important work to practitioners of all disciplines.
Scott served as a founding board member of the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America; co-author of the original and the 2016 Standards of Practitioner Competencies; and as a past Vice President of the American Polarity Therapy Association. Scott has taught all over the U.S. as well as in Reykjavik, Iceland. He has been teaching Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Santa Fe School of Massage since 2012.
“Scott is warm, engaging, and highly knowledgeable. He loves the diversity of his students and the quality of their questions. His background in the healing arts field is extensive, including massage, Polarity Therapy, Structural Integration (Rolfing), as well as his twenty-year engagement in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. He greets us with a hug at the start of each class and stays in our hearts in between each session. To say he is “on his midline” is an understatement. His demonstrations with each new phase of our work are outstanding. They alone are worth the price of admission!” ~ Gerry Clow, RCST®, RPP – Course Graduate
